We eat a TON of chicken in our house. At least 5 times a week, it’s chicken something. We’re big fans of Land O’Lakes Saute Express Meal Starters. Every flavor we’ve tried, we love! The one we like the most is the Italian Herb. I will cook the chicken in it, and plate it over pasta. Some of the other flavors I’ve even made rice with it.
Well they now make a new flavor, Southwest. We couldn’t wait to try that one! I cooked some chicken in it last week and as soon as I could smell it cooking, I decided to make tacos out of it instead. We fry our own taco shells and those tacos were delicious.
Tonight I decided to try making fajitas with them. This recipe is so ridiculously easy, you won’t believe it.
All you need is a package of Saute Express Southwest flavor, some flour tortillas, and either chicken or beef. I made chicken fajitas.
There are 6 squares in a box, and for two chicken breasts, I used 4 Saute Express squares.
Melt the Saute Express squares in your pan.
Add your chicken (or beef) and cook until your meat is done. I usually let it simmer for a few extra minutes when it’s done, just to marinate the flavor more into my meat.
The seasoning in it is just so perfect! No measuring your seasonings, just add the squares to your meat and you’re good to go.
Seriously, these are incredibly easy and oh so delicious! This makes a great, quick meal on a busy work night!
