I’ve been wearing glasses and contact lenses for as long as I can remember.  I’ve tried so many different products for my eyes over the years.   I was so very excited when I was presented with the opportunity to review some new products from OcuFresh and additional eyecare products from Optics Lab!

I have really poor vision without my glasses or contact lenses.  I’m really nearsighted, and I can’t see two feet in front of me without corrective lenses.  When I was younger, I had gotten a really bad contact lens infection in my right eye and it was so painful.  I had been using really cheap eye care products, which may have contributed to my infection.   It really scared me, and since then I’ve always tried to take extra good care of my eyes, and I only buy quality products for my eyes.  You only have one set of eyes and you better take care of them!

My eyes get really dry very easily, so I’m always needing eye drops.  I always have to carry two types of  eye drops in my purse at all times.  I  need regular eye drops for when I’m wearing my glasses, and rewetting drops for when I’m wearing my contact lenses.

When I received my package from OcuFresh, I was thrilled!   They sent me lubricant eye drops, rewetting drops, Eye Wash, and even a box of OcuSave eye vitamin and mineral supplements.   And they all came in this handy dandy tote bag.  I’m a girl who can’t have enough tote bags!

I’m sure you’re familiar with what types of bottles that eye drops come in.  They are small, and not too bulky to keep in your purse.  But these Mini Drops Lubricant Eye Drops from Optics are awesome!  There are 30 sterile single-use droppers.  Each dropper has 0.02 fluid ounces!  They are small enough to easily fit in your wallet!  I absolutely love the size of them.  And since they are made for single use, you avoid the possibility of cross-contamination like regular bottles of eye drops.  I use these eye drops for when I have dry eyes when wearing my glasses.  They relieved my dry eyes from the burning and irritation immediately, and they kept my eyes lubricated for hours.

The Rewetting Drops are made for soft contact lenses.  I always have to have a bottle of rewetting drops in my purse.  My eyes are always dry, and wearing contact lenses dries them out even more.   There’s nothing more uncomfortable than having your contact lenses stuck to your eyeballs.  These rewetting drops also came in single-use droppers, and kept my contact lenses moist and kept them from sticking to my eyeballs.  They were very refreshing for my eyes.  And thanks to their single-use size, they also fit in my wallet.  I no longer need to keep a whole bottle in my purse.

Another product I received was OcuFresh EyeWash in single-use bottles.  There were 6 single use bottles in the container, and it even came with a reusable eye cup.   I have needed this SO MANY TIMES.   I wish I had this product sooner.  I can’t tell you how many times I’ve gotten mascara in my eyes and needed to wash out my eye and I’ve had to use water, which does NOT do a good job.  It’s not that I’m clumsy when putting on my makeup.  It’s because it’s impossible to apply makeup in our bathroom, with 6 dogs running around you at all times, getting in to everything!  And then there’s the times the dogs are crawling all over me on the couch, and with 4 of our dogs being shedders (chihuahuas!), every once in a while, I’ll get a dog hair in my eye.  Yes, I’m blaming the dogs for this one, lol.  Have you ever been driving down the road with the window down, and had something fly in your eye?  Or just get an eyelash in your eye that you can’t get out?  Seems to happen more and more often.   And EyeWash is not one of those things you usually have in your purse.  So with these single-use containers, I always have one on hand now!   And the eye cup is flexible, so it conforms to the shape of your eye.  This is a wonderful product that does a great job!
