This is a very easy tip that most people do not know!Â Â If you are tired of bananas going bad before you have a chance to eat them, here is a a very quick and easy tip.Â Just wrap the ends of the bananas in plastic wrap.Â They will not turn brown for an extra one to one and a half weeks!
And once they do start to turn brown, if we are not going to be eating them very quickly, I peel them and freeze them for later use.Â They are great for banana breads and other recipe.Â I love using frozen banana slices in fresh fruit smoothies!
And here’s one last tip, which may be the most important.
The next time you buy bananas as the store, whether they are bagged or not – check them THOROUGHLY!!!Â Banana spiders are deadly, and are found in bananas more often than you would think.Â Â Personally, I would probably just drop dead of a heart attack if I ever saw one of these!
