Ok, be honest. How many times have you thrown away a candle jar that you really liked, because you either didn’t know how to remove the wax easily, or didn’t feel like bothering with it?
Well I’m here to show you a very easy solution! All you need is some boiling water for each jar.
Pour the boiling water in the containers, and let it sit for about 5-10 minutes. The candle will melt, but do not be fooled! Let the water COMPLETELY cool. Be patient, and let it sit for a few hours. Once the water has completely cooled, you will see that that wax has risen to the top of the jar.  Simply grab a spoon and spoon the wax out. Make sure you scrape the sides, and get all the little bits out. You do NOT want this to go down your drain.  When the wax pieces are all out, pour the water down the drain, and you may need a little soap and water, and a scrubby to get the rest of it out. It should come out very easily though. In fact, sometimes all I need to do is grab a paper towel and it comes right out with a paper towel, and then I throw that out. And there you go – a brand new jar to reuse for whatever you like.
