I couldn’t be happier to be on the Restaurant.com Review Crew! I’m sure you’ve heard of Restaurant.com by now, but have you actually looked into it? Even if I was not on the Review Crew, I would be saving money with Restaurant.com! They have a free app which I use on my smart phone, and when we are out and about, and looking for a great deal on a meal, I just enter the zip code we are in, and the app shows me all the deals we can get in that area!
Friday night we went to Prosecco’s Italian Restaurant in Farmington, NY. We’ve been here before, and this is one of those restaurants we wouldn’t have known about or tried if it wasn’t for Restaurant.com.
They usually have live music on Friday nights. This time they had the Sonny Brown Band, and they were great.
Chris made 6:15 reservations earlier that day because they get really busy. We got there about 10 minutes early and were seated very quickly.
One of my favorite parts of this meal is the Italian bread & butter. One of the best breads I’ve ever had. Their bread is soft on the inside, and crispy on the outside. It’s just heavenly. I’m not a huge bread fan, but I do love my fresh Italian bread & butter, and this one is one of the best ever.
Their salads are usually also one of my favorite parts of the meal too. They come with kalamata olives which give it a salty bite and their home made dressings are to die for. I love their home made balsamic Italian dressing. I was enjoying my salad until I bit into some blue cheese. That was not a pleasant surprise. I actually could not finish my salad after that point. There were also no kalamata olives in my salad, and Chris had like 4 in his. He loved his salad though, and their home made blue cheese dressing, which is probably how my plate ended up with some.
For our entrees, Chris ordered the Tortellini. He said it was incredibly delicious. They give you a big portion, too!
I ordered the chicken marsala. Chicken, mushrooms and noodles, how could you go wrong? You just can’t. They give you a huge portion of this, too. I couldn’t even finish it. It’s probably my favorite chicken marsala I’ve ever had. The chicken was real tender, which is so important. I hate dry, tasteless chicken, and this was anything but tasteless or dry!
We don’t usually order dessert, but we do at Prosecco’s! They have an incredible dessert menu. Chris ordered his all time favorite dessert – Tiramisu! Coated in cocoa powder, ice cold, and he devoured it.
And I ordered their home made coconut cream cake. It is TO DIE FOR, not even kidding. It has a sweet buttercream frosting, it is dusted with confectioner’s sugar, and it’s such a moist, delicious cake.
The meal was awesome, the live band was great, my date was amazing ♥, and saving $15 off of our meal topped off the perfect date night! It’s been a while since we had a date night!
