If you’re thinking this salt & pepper mill set looks a little familiar, it is! I did a review on a stainless steel set not that long ago, and you can read that review here.
This time I’m reviewing their salt & pepper mills that are made of wood, stainless steel and glass combined.
I love this design. I love the stainless steel ones too, but I think the wood tops give them a whole different look. I love that they still have the glass bottoms, so you can see exactly how much (or how little) you have in each mill. And, it makes it easy to know which is the salt and which is the pepper. Is there anything worse than grabbing what you think is salt for your popcorn, and finding out it’s pepper?
They are just as easy to fill as the other ones, too. Just screw off the top part, and pour in your salt or peppercorns. Then just screw the top part back on, and voila! You’re done.
And, they look even nicer once they are filled. They are very elegant looking and definitely dress up your dinner table much nicer than plain old salt and pepper shakers. And with the holidays coming up, most people want their dinner table to have that extra touch.
It’s also very easy to adjust the coarseness of the salt and pepper, too. See that little white dial in the center? Just turn it clockwise if you want finer salt or pepper, and turn it counter-clockwise if you want it more coarse. Personally, I like my pepper really coarse, and my salt very fine. So I love that they are so easily adjustable.
And just to show you the difference in the coarseness, here you can see the more coarse salt on the left, and the more finer salt on the right.
The pile on the right is extremely fine, almost like a powder. Just how I like it!
